3/21/07 -- Spring Alabama Fire College courses are available to sign up, please contact Chief or Dave Campbell for information. Classes are held the 26th through 29th of April, please attend!
3/21/07 -- Fishing Tournaments announced. The first tournament will be held April 5th, at Smiths Camp.
10/17/06 -- Board member nominations were held. 3 people were nominated and a vote will be held at Station 1 on 11/4/06 from 9am-3pm. You must be a registered voter to vote. Board meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month. Come be a part of your growing community.
10/6/06 -- WRFR among 89 Alabama Fire Departments who were awarded grants in the first round of the Assistance To Firefighters Grant from the Federal Government. Out of the 89 total for the state, 50 were for trucks. This is a significant step for the state as we were awarded more than any other state in that round. WRFR will use this grant to purchase our self loading tanker that will greatly increase our water supply on all fire related incidents.
8/7/06 -- Association Meeting held at the station on 8/6/06. Member Jonathan Cooper was named Captain of our department. Our friends from Deleware, "Tiny" and Joe, were also down to visit. It was great to meet them face to face.
3/29/06 -- Members Page, News, and pictures have been updated. More pictures added as well as the format of the gallery changed.
